Law enforcement entities gained more knowledge to fight human trafficking during February 25 – 29, 2008 at a Task Force Development to Combat Trafficking in Persons course, delivered by the U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. This course was sponsored and funded by the Embassy’s law enforcement assistance program, and is the second in a series of U.S. Government-provided training programs for the Center for Combating Trafficking in Persons. On February 29, 2008 Ambassador Michael D. Kirby attended the graduation ceremony and donated four vehicles, flashlights and video equipment to the Center.
