Ambassador Michael D. Kirby delivers speech and Moldova State University.

Moldova State University students and lectors liten to the Ambassador Kirby's Speech

On Friday, March 23 Ambassador Michael D. Kirby delivered a major policy speech at Moldova State University to a standing-room only audience of more that 500 students, professors and guests.

The Ambassador related what he had observed about Moldova and its efforts to chart a European path toward democracy and the rule of law.  He noted the positive steps Moldova has already taken and pointed out further moves that the country needs to make in order to continue its development. 

After delivering his speech, Ambassador Kirby spent more than an hour answering questions from the audience and the media.
