Senator John McCain Visits Moldova

This visit highlighted the strength of the U.S.-Moldova relationship

U.S. Senator John McCain visited Moldova on Sunday, June 12. The Senator met with key political leaders, as well as representatives of Moldova's youth leadership, to discuss issues of interest to both the U.S. and Moldova.

Senator McCain also enjoyed a walking tour of downtown Chisinau, where he visited monuments and learned more about Moldova's history and culture. This  visit highlighted the strength of the U.S.-Moldova relationship, and underlined the United States' continued support for Moldova's ongoing democratic and economic reforms.
