Alumni Share and Plan at 6th Congress
Approximately 230 alumni, participants at various exchange programs, were brought together to foster a sense of community, elect new members of the Alumni Board and establish strategic goals for the up-coming year. Ambassador Chaudhry greeted the alumni and encouraged them to be pro-active in sharing their experience and changing Moldova for the better. Nine of the most active alumni received Best Alumni Awards for their outstanding activity and contribution to local and professional communities. The 6th Alumni Congress is an annual one-day event organized by the Alumni Board in cooperation with the US Embassy Alumni Resource Center. As it was mentioned by Ambassador Chaudhry, exchange programs and alumni are one of the largest investments the United States make into Moldova. This type of activity encourages people to make Moldova a better prosperous democracy.
