Ambassador Michael D. Kirby, U.S. Federal Court of Appeals Judge D. Brooks Smith, and Chairman of the Moldova Superior Council of Magistracy Judge Nicolae Clima held a joint press conference on November 1, at the U.S. Embassy Information Resource Center.

The conference, organized by the Public Affairs Section in coordination with the MCC Threshold Program office, focused on the training that Judge D. The speakers at the press conference also discussed the importance of judicial ethics and its role in enhancing the accountability, professionalism and public perception of the judiciary in Moldova.  A large number of television and radio stations and news agencies covered the 75-minute event.
