The Ambassador hosts a reception to discuss Summer Work and Travel
On November 13, Ambassador Chaudhry hosted a reception in his residence for a group of students who traveled on Summer Work and Travel (SWT), for university rectors and vice rectors, Moldovan officials, as well as representatives of SWT American sponsor companies, to discuss issues related to the SWT program and to have an exchange of opinions about the results of this year's program.
In his speech, the Ambassador congratulated the students who returned in time for their classes and expressed hope that they enjoyed the travel and learned a lot from this program. The Ambassador stated that it is a successful program, because it allows students to get new experiences and new relations, it is structured in such a way that the participants have the opportunity to work and entertain themselves, as well. In their interviews to the press, the students said they had a great experience in the U.S, enjoyed their stay very much and learned a lot from it.
