To book your appointment, you will need the barcode number from your Confirmation Page and a printer.  Please click here and follow the instructions provided to select a date and time from the menu provided for your visa interview.  You can access the appointment website at any time should you need to change or cancel your scheduled appointment.

IMPORTANT: For petition-based work visa applicants (H-1B, H-2B, H-2A, L-1, O1, P-1, P-2, P-3, R), when making visa interview appointments, please send us an e-mail at Chisinau-CA@state.gov with your name and approved petition number. For example: Popescu, Ion; Petition No: EAC-08-123-45678

We urge all travelers to apply for visas well in advance of their planned travel, but understand that in certain cases situations arise beyond applicants’ control.  In those cases, the Embassy can provide expedited appointments for visa interviews.  Some examples of applications that would qualify for expedited service include:

• Medical cases

• Unforeseen business travel

• Students/Exchange visitors whose programs are about to start

To request an expedited appointment or schedule a group of 10 persons or more, please send an email describing your request to Chisinau-CA@state.gov with the words “Expedited Appointment” in the subject line.  We will make every effort to provide visa interview appointments for those with legitimate emergencies.

You must bring a copy of your Appointment Confirmation webpage to your interview in order to enter the building. The system will not send a confirmation email. (Print the webpage using the print button on your browser.)

Business Travel Facilitation Program

Employees of members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova may qualify for a special appointment program. For more information on the program, please contact the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova.

With the exceptions of nuclear families, each visa applicant must have his/her own appointment. Parents traveling with their children may submit the whole family's applications on the same appointment.

IMmportant: To prevent multiple bookings by the same person, the Embassy reserves the right to cancel any appointments which do not appear to be valid reservations. Please spell your name correctly. Multiple name spellings with the same or similar passport numbers may be subject to cancellation.
