Charge d'Affaires Kara McDonald swore-in a new group of 31 Peace Corps Volunteers, who will serve as business and community development advisors throughout Moldova. Peace Corps currently has 61 Volunteers serving in Moldova working in four projects.
Ambassador Moser, joined by Prime Minister Iurie Leanca and Onur Cetinceviz, officially opened the Sarateni Junction. The $2 million redesign and construction of a new bridge and interchange is part of the United States' $262 million MCC Project.ALSO: Video Photos
Ambassador Moser opened the “Fii Schimbarea” summer camp at Vadul lui Voda for 40 youth from all regions of Moldova. The purpose of this camp is to develop Moldova’s next generation of leaders and instill in them a strong sense of community involvement.
Ambassador Moser participated in the 2014 "Green Run" in Tarasova (Rezina Raion). The Green Run was co-organized by USAID's CEED II project as part of the United States' efforts to develop Moldova's eco-tourism industry.

The Embassy of the United States of America announces an open grants competition for independent media in Moldova through the Public Affairs Section.
