A SUCCESSFUL VISIT BY NORTH CAROLINA DELEGATION

 

 A delegation from the U.S. state of North Carolina was in Moldova the week of April 10 to hold the annual meeting of the North Carolina-Moldova Bilateral Affairs Committee.   U.S. Ambassador Heather Hodges, Minister of Health and Social Protection Ion Ababii, and North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine Marshall participating in the session. On April 13 delegation members toured Holy Trinity Hospital, where they viewed medical equipment donated from North Carolina.   The committee presented a North Carolina flag flown over the State Capitol building in Raleigh to the director of the hospice.

Committee members also visited Hospice North Carolina in Zubresti.
